rajinikanth Frequent rumours over the health condition of Tamil filmdom's demigod Rajnikanth over the last few days has kept his diehard fans worried. The 61-year old Kollywood superstar, who enjoys a maddening following across age groups and gender and on whom politician of every hue banks on during election time, has been in and out of hospital in Chennai over the past fortnight. Rumour mills have it that he is suffering from a serious liver disorder and may fly abroad for treatment, preferably in the US. However, doctors at the Sri Ramachandra Medical Hospital, a leading corporate hospital cum deemed university on the outskirts of Chennai, where he has been admitted since May 13 on Friday issued a bulletin saying he was " cheerful" and that his " vital parameters are normal." The actor was initially admitted to another hospital a fortnight ago when he complained of fatigue and vomiting while shooting for his next venture Rana that has top Bollywood heroine Deepika Padukone in the cast. Though discharged the same evening, Rajni was readmitted a couple of days later sparking rumours about his health condition. However, he is back in hospital again. Doctors attending on him said he has been advised to remain in the hospital for a thorough medical examination to ensure normal status.
